Bad fuel pump?

Bad fuel pump?
Hi,
First time posting here!
I have been trying to figure out a little problem that has been bothering me.
I have a 91 LX, bought it six months ago.
Here are some of the MODs from what I've firgured out have been done to the engine:
Cobra upper and lower
24lb injecters
73mm MAF
65mm Throttle Body
Under drive pulley set-up
aluminum heads-don't know specs
has a performance cam-don't know specs
[blockquote]
Here is my question, car runs great, a little on the lean side(can smell it, butnot significant).
After about a 1/2 hour warm up, acceleration is degraded and it hesitates a lot
at lower RPM's if I give it a lot ofthrottle. I want to figure out what causes this.
I am going to buy a fuel pressure gauge and want to know if I could drive the car around with the gauge
attached to see if my fuel pressure drops after the car warms up, is this somthing that i could do
without any problems? I believe, if the fuel pressure drops, I willbuy a new fuel pump.
I changed the inlinefilter already. I also thought in the beggining that it could be timing, is that possible?[/blockquote]

RE: Bad fuel pump?
if timing hasn't moved it is unlikely that is the prob unless excessive chain stretch has occured in that case no adjustment will fix that.....first I'd run a koer test and look for codes after that check tune up parts and clean maf sensor with maf cleaner
