Default equal length? unequal length?

This is the theory. Equal length tubes are designed so that the exhaust pulse from one cylinder enters and exits the collector before the next cylinders exhaust pulse reaches the collector. On unequal length tubes, they tend to overlap in the collector, causing more back pressure, i.e., less power.
