Default rear end help

I have a 98 with a 302 and 13 psi procharger i need a new rear end i need a 8.8 some one told me that a 98 ranger rear endwill work but i dont know what would be a good doner car?

you can pull one off an f150 or a certain year ranger, but i'm sure most people would tell you to just grab a new one that's ready to go.

do it right!!! a mustang rear is not a hard find and they are inexpensive and bolt right in

wrong... it will not bolt up, you would have to weld on the correct mounting points

guys i live in omaha ne ive called every performance shop every salvage yard nothing and the performance shop wants 1000 for a used 8.8 trac loc. ne idea? ebay is no good. i ****ing need to get this driving soon
