Idle Air Control-All Created Equal?
I am currently looking to replace a bad IAC on my 92 GT. Went to a boneyard and found plenty of 4 cylinder Stangs to rip on off of but was unsure if it would work on my five-o. Would this work??

They operate the exact same. As far as i'm aware there are only two types out of all the cars made. The stepper type (used on gm's) & the fast idle solenoid type (used on most (if not all) efi fords)
I believe the only difference is the plastic plug on the end of it. If i'm not mistaken the 2.3's plug comes straight off, the 5.0's has a 90 degree bend in it.
I believe the plug is the same, just at a different angle... Not sure if that makes sense... Basically it will work providing the plug will fit. (mine is broken off so I just have two wires on one of my cars)
I can check for you later.
