Vaccum Line and coolent lines to TB
The Vaccum line and the coolent lines that run into the throttle body, I see a lot of motors are capped off? Any reasons plus or minus.
These lines?

No emissions here in IL...So, really they serve no real purpose? Come on Pro, your the pro!

I still have mine minus the vacuum line b/c of the blower. Do you still have to go through emissions? There's no real benefit to removing them.

If the EGR is functional (= no EGR failure codes present in the EEC).... you need to allow that spacer to cool. For the crankcase ventilation hose to the TB, if you have a functional PCV valve, that hose need to stay connected to the TB.

Great answers...Thanks Joel....I thought if there was an advantage, I would remove them to free up some clutter. You know in these EFI cars, hoses, cables etc!
