My buddy was driving his car to work. He drives a 95 mustang gt automatic with 130,000 miles on it. As he was pulling into his parking spot, he threw it in park and the car just shut off on its own. When he keys on, he gets no fuel pump, no crank, no radio, and none of the relays are clicking. Checked all fuses, and with key on, multiple fuses are not getting power, but they are not blown. His headlights, fog lights, windows and interior lights allstill work. My guess is a PCM failure, or Bad SJB???? No idea. Any help would be great.

my guess would not be the PCM!!!.......ARE the headlights bright when he flips them on???? have you tried to jump start it???? could be a bad selonoid if the alt didn't take a dump and drain battery down??...if battery is okay you need to test start circuit ..possible bad selonoid like I said or starter

wiggle the positive and negative battery calbe with the key on

Headlights are bright, windows operate smoothly. His fuel pump isnt turning on at all. He just threw the car in park, and it just shut down on its own. Keyed back on right away and no relays clicked at all, also half of the SJB isnt getting any power. so i dont think it is the solenoid... The radio doesnt even work, but my guess is when someone installed the after market stero system, the wired it in with the ignition circuit for key on power.??? Never heard of this problem

The car is a half hour away, so i will try that tomorrow aode08. Any other suggestions anyone???

it may have a bad ignition switch..meaning the electrical portion..not lock and tumblar

dont worry yourself, you will find it easy and fast with logic.
