BBK header install problems

Default BBK header install problems

i just got some BBK equal length headers and i am runnign into problems installing them because the bents of the header will not clear the cross member from the bottom and it hits the break lines and masterfrom the top anyone know of an easy way without jacking up the motor

You have to jack the motor, install from the top. Plain and simple.

Undo the bolt for the drivers side motor mount, jack the motor and remove the master cylinder. I did that and the header slid right in from the top with no problems.

The master does not have to be removed. Just making extra work.

is a fox harder to install than an sn95?
when i put my equals in i never had to take off the master cylinder or jack up the engine at all.

I have Mac equals and had to jack the engine up. There was no way around it for me.

Unequals are cheaper, a hell of alot easier to install, and make more power... so why bother with equal lenth?
