Default 89 5.0 Electrical Help

Hey, me and Redmachandorangefox are here right now working on his halloween machine and we think we found the problem

if you dont remember or didnt care, basically he lost a bunch of electrical stuff after he went autocrossing, turn signals, air blower, and brake lights, and his car also dies randomly.

basically, in a somwhat futile search for the problem, we disassembled the dash for no reason, only to return to the column and find this

basically that fatty rectangular connecter is both sides and it fell out of the holdermajig thingy, and were putting our money that that is what the problem is

also in that one pic there is a small part that is kindof a triangular shape, and we dont know what the hell it is.......

also, how can we put this back together, or are we SOL

gracias

Mine did just that. Get a new one. They're not that expensive, or hard to replace. I thought it was rivets that held it to the column but just some wierd headed screws.

yeah, that was the problem, it just didnt want to stay in there, and there was a zip tie on it before and it broke, so we zip tied it and wraped it in duct tape, and all the problems are gone

woot
