Default Do I NEED a clutch fork cover?

I would think i need one, but some guy told me they are a waste of money....i need one right? I'd hate for a rock to meet with my pressure plate...

i've been running my car now almost a year without 1.....i took it off one day to adjust the cable ( before i got my firewall adjuster) never put it on...lol

you'd be wise to put it back on it's there to keep dust and debris on the off chance of it being sucked in there by accident

put it back on, unless you're using a blowproof bellhousing which there isnt usually a provision for a cover.
Ive went without a cover with my lakewood bellhousing for 2 years now, but
i only drive the car around once a week though.

Ive not had mine on for 7 years, aint run in to a problem. I think it will let the clutch run cooler cause it is like a vent. But it is a matter of opinion.
