Default UD pulleys quick question

I been wanting to buy some ud pulleys but I've heard bad things when putting the alt pulley . My question is if I buy them and only install 2 of the pulleys and I don't put the alt one will it give the same HP as installing all 3 ??? Thanks

Not sure to the answer. I would assume it wouldnt make that big of a difference.

I ran all 3 pullys with no charging problems. Unless your running extra stuff like amps and such i would say just install all 3

will definately agree with addermk, the alternater pully will and i repeat will ruin the life of your alternator.

Stay away from pullies in general. There are other things the money can be spent on that is well worth it..

I am just running the 2, and I still worry about charging, it's partly due to the crank pully being differant. If I could trade my underdrives for stockers, I'd do it in a heartbeat, but it's what came with the car. I am running electric fan though too. I'd side with 306stang, they are TOO EXPENSIVE for what they are.

If you end up upgrading your alt, say when it eventually fries; then the entire underdrive pulley set is not a bad thing, if your car runs hot live in hot area, you can omit the water pump UD pulley - thats how Im running.

I have the 3g and electric fan and amps so it works for me okay
