Default Shorties or Longtubes?

Is it worth the hassle installing longtubes over shorties? are they going to have a big diffrence in sound level? Shorties would be easier to install but i just want to make sure theyre going to make the exhaust sound to its fullest. Its going to have o/r h pipe and loudmouth 1s so it should be loud enough

If exhaust sound is your main goal, then to me the long tubes sound pretty damn sweet.
and louder
and hoter under the hood
and harder to install esp in sn95
and more expensive
and not smog legal
and *can* give up torque in some applications

sound sweeeeeet

longtubes will give you more power over shorties anyday of the week, on any application..be it stock or heavily modded. get them ceramic coated, whether shorties or longtubes, and you wont have to worry about heat under the hood.

longtubes may be a bit "quieter" than shorties, but the tone that they give to exhaust is uncomparable, and cant be matched by anything.

nice choice on the catback..on my notch build i have ford racing shorties (i cant pass emissions here in jersey with longtubes, only reason i dont have them), off road x, and slp lm1..i cant wait to get the on the road
