Despite the snow which season is worste for stangs? summer or winter?</P>


I know it gets cold n such for your car but im curious which season puts more of a beating on the car. And dont think about the snow( just weather wise). anyone help?</P>

Depends on the temps. Both are bad, extreme heat and Cold. I guess for my area the winters has to worse. It doesn't really get too hot in Louisville. The cold probably does more wear and tear. Then again, I don't drive mine in the winter.....

the reason im asking is because im gonna drive it through this winter (not the snow though) and i guess ill try and keep my car in good condtion through the cold

I bet a good undercoating would be a wise investment

actaully you can spray some apc-3 on it and it lasts for awhile ..we used to spray it on machine going over seas to prevent rust from the salt...it's life 5 buck a can

best season is fall, cooler air for higher O2 levels, and not all the heat of summer, pollen of spring, and snow of winter. As far as winterizing goes, you could do stuff to the paint with apc-3, but i just give my baby a nice wax with mothers before winter, and it holds hard until at least march. I usually drive the volvo in the winter too, stangs are horrid in snow.

I would say summer sucks for performance, but that winter snow eats bodies alive with all the salt that gets put on roads

I hate that stuff. We had a lathe come in from Italy coated in that s**** because it was to big to fit down in the hull of the ship. All it was horrible. The Italians spent the first 4 days they were here just cleaning the damn machine up. Then again, if you spend a quarter million on a machine you don't want it to rust.</P>
