1 bad plug = 1 bad cylinder, so yes, it can cause your car to run like crap.

usually they get cracked when your installing them, or they are cracked when you buy them from getting dropped or tossed around between the time they were manufactured and the time the goober at the auto parts store hands them to you.

i have had cracked plugs that i didnt even know were cracked until i misted water on them in the dark while the motor was running and saw the spark arcing from the center electrode to the hex part of the plug.

just replace the plug, hell replace them all just cause (autolite copper cores FTMFW) and you should be fine.

Yes one bad plug will cause it too run poorly. The spark is not getting to the tip, it's just shooting out of the ceramic part. Like said above, mist it with water at night and you will see it. You may even find out that you need new wires as well as plugs.

Good it was just that. Plugs are such an easy thing to change/fix, but such an integral part. My buddy just bought a 01 GT and it turns out his #4 plug was almost non-existant, as the plugs and coils were original after 60k [:'(]
