those listed mods should help your launches, more weight transfer=better 60 ft

you dont need less weight so much as better transfer of said weight, but you gotta think, i think the tubular K member and A arms are like 43 lbs less than stock, and thats the only real thing your doing to reduce weight

like said, you could get a fiberglass stock style hood, Delete the A/C and Smog, etc

however, your gonna be hard pressed to hit that goal if you dont at least get some drag radials on there, at least get a spare set of tires and mount them on stocker wheels and keep em in the trunk when you go to the strip, at LEAST

sn95 hoods are fiberglass but the aftermarket hoods are still a little lighter.with those power numbers u want a 12.2 on motor?????!?!!! no offense On ****, ****, narrow baldtires i got a 13.4 on motor, with some better tires im looking at a 13.0-12.9 on motor and a 12.0 on my 125 shot...you can see my power numbers in my sig. A good rule of thumb i heard is for every 100lbs u lose you gain 0.1 secondsyou should be hoping for a 12.9-13.2 on motor adn a 12.0-12.4 on spray

ya 12.2 on motor after all the mods for lightening it up and transfering weight better, and i think although pushing it its possible.. granted this was on the street but i ran a mach 1 that turned a 12.6 on motor, he did it twice and then had a couple of 12.7 and 12.8 runs with 60' times of 1.5-1.8.....

also man i ran a 13.9 with just bolt ons, stock heads, stock intake, stock cam, on bald 225/55 street tires

im goin to the track on saturday so i know street and track is diff, but im pretty confident ill be around his numbers...

what did your 60' times look like?
