what are the wires on the back of the tach?
which wires are the tach out(from uego 2000)and tach input(from tachsignal source)and which one is the to tach(signal to drive tachometer)? i am hooking up an uego 2000. i have an autogage by autometer. what i think is that the display head wiring harness has the orange and yellow wires and the orange goes to the tach out and the yellow goes to the tach input but i dont know which one goes to the switch from the tach. correct me if i am wrong and thanks for any help. and here is a pic of the wires coming out of the tach.

RE: what are the wires on the back of the tach?
Red = "Key on" power source
Green = negative side of the coil, or to tach output on ignition box
White = light hook-up, you want this tapped into a wire that comes on with your dash lights
Black = ground
The 2 wire loops are there in case you are installing the tach on a 4 or 6 cylinder. If installed on a6 cylinder, the brown one needs to be cut, if installed on a 4 cylinder, the brown and orange loop needs to be cut
