how do you go thru emissions? did u just leave the egr in the same place and put a transistor in the plug? how does your car run without it?

Hey your in Phoenix too...I'm gonnaput the EGR, smog pump back on for emissions. I know one guy here that passed with no smog hooked up andanother guy that said his smog pumpwas just bolted on with nothing hooked up and passed. I took egr off and put a plate over it that came in my EGR delete kit,put the eliminator plug in where EGR plugged in harness and cappedvaccum line....runs just fine.

i think im gonna leave all the emission stuff on. it doesn't rob that much horsepower and i like not having to worry about emissions. i just took my car to checker and did a KOER test and it gave me two codes:
12: RPM at idle out of range/high
34: 1) EGR valve not opening properly
2) Insufficient EGR flow or EVP voltage too high

Now what?

34 - EGR Valve Position/Pressure Feedback EGR Voltage Above Closed Limit (O,R), PFE or EVP circuit has intermittently failed above the closed limit of 0.67 volts (M)

You have a problem with the EVP sensor reading too high for a closed EGR position state. Something as simple as the wrong EVP/EGR valve seal width will cause this problem, or the EVP installed is not the correct one, it will cause the code to be logged. BTW, if the EGR valve is seating OK (closed 100%) you shouldn't have any driveability problems.

yeah the car drives fine, although sometimes it will die under a load, if i'm engaging the clutch, hitting the brake and turning at the same time. how thick should the seal between the egr and evp be? should i just get a new seal from ford, or i'm i way off track here?
