Default 92 GT in need of HELP!!!

I am hoping someone out there can help me. I have a 92 GT 5.0 HO V8. When I start my car, it is only idling at about 550 rpms. when I put it into reverse, or drive, there are times where it will stall out. All of my electrical seem to be working (i.e. headlamps, radio, and such)but my power steering, and brakes go out and the engine dies. This has happened to me a few times while i was doing about 75 mph on the freeway! When the car is idling, it sounds like it is idling roughly, and just before it dies, it sputters and hiccups sometimes, almost like there is a serious lack of power when I step on the gas pedal. The thing is, is that this problem is inconsistent.!! sometimes it runs great with no problems at all, while other times I cant drive 5 feet down the road. I have already replaced the spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, the fuel filter, and the fuel pump, as well as the air filter. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

check your sensors and valves, as well as vacuum lines i want to say

sounds like it might be a problem with the MAF/IAC

i had somewhat of a similar problem but mine would never run smooth at all... i never found the problem with it i replaced the motor.. but my guess was a burnt valve.. so if you cant get it with the sensor and vaccum stuff have your heads checked
