Default need HP limits on these p

hey, I am wondering if you guys know about what the HP limit is on these parts.

rebuilt 8.8 rear (stock)
stock rebuilt T5

I think the tranny is good to 300HP right? well at least thats what I think. but i dont understand how a tremmec can be that much better, since whenever i read about the tremmec tranny, it is rated to 330HP. only 30 HP more then stock. for about 100 times more the price.

its just I am wanting to know thie because I am planning on getting a new engine next summer and want to know if I can use the stock parts i mentioned or go bigger.

I am planning on getting a rebuilt 302 w edelrbcok heads and a beefy cam with probably a supercharger not long after
OR
rebuilt 351

tell me what you think I will need to handle either of these engines, and not blow the tranny or rear too quickly.

I'm running a stock rebuilt T5 and stock 8.8 (different gears though) and I've got well over 300hp. It depends on how you drive it and how much traction you have.

My buddy ran 10.0's with a big block on a stock 8.8 and didn't have any problems, but it was an automatic and they are much easier on the rear end,I don't think you have to worry about the rear end.the stock posi is a little weak when you get into the high horsepower range however.
