limited slip differential
looking to upgrade my 89 lx to a posi rear end, i want to stick with the 28 spline that is on it, my only question is "is the car a sold axle? or is it two separate" just so i know if i need to buy new axles or not, and also what is a good middle of the road gear ratio i want something that will be quick off the line, but won't leave me redlining at 70mph... any suggestions, i was thinking around 3.7...?

RE: limited slip differential
373 are good for a manual. There 2 sperate axels. Why do you want a locker????Just upgrade the clutch pack in the rear to the carbon fibers clutches. Your tires are gonna wear fairly fast with a locking diff

wow, now i kind of feel like an idiot, i just assumed that it didn't for whatever reason, i think i might go ahead and replace the clutch pack in the rear end "last burnout i did only 1 wheel was spinning"..but anyway does anyone know a good website/ brand to look into to get a new clutch pack for the rear?
