I own a 89 mustang 5.0 with a world class t-5 in her yesterday my car go impounded when i picked it up and drove it home i noticed that in 3rd and 4th gear it slips like crazy but only when i put power to the car. For example if im driving down the road in 4th gear and step on it the car doesnt move, the engine spikes in RPM's and like I said wont go can anyone tell me what is wrong i checked the clutch by pulling up in the E-brake and putting it in first and slowly letting off the clutch and it wanted to move in any on the other gears it wanted to stall. Also when i picked the car up there was some trans fluid on the bed of the tow truck and on the bottom of the trans cassing does any one think some fluid got on the cluch or something important any help is needed

you need to replace the clutch = worn out
