Isn't that gonna be kinda hard to poop the heads off???[sm=icon_rofl.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif]anyway, if your getting the trickflow kit with twisted wedge heads and satge 1 cam most likely you won't need to flycut pistons as that's what the twisted wedge are for but either way you should still check ptv and if your still SD that cam isn't the best choice for SD

Sad to see the situation your in.[:@]Been here a trillion times.

I would remove the engine from the vehicle.

Purchase .030 over pistons with the reliefs on them.

Have thenew pistons balancedthe old piston's weights and pressed onto the rods.

Thenhave the block bored and honed.

Replace the Rod and Main Bearings (.010).

Replace the oil pump and shaft, and clean out the pickup .

Turn the crank over .010

$500 well spent, and more power than you are expecting. With your mileage, im sure your at least 35% less power than you had from the factory at the wheels.

Besides the lower redoneandlabor saving's, having the motor out of the car takes alot of time and pain off your project.

Something else you want to look at, are the "OTHER" gadgets they used to get 360HP, besides the HCI.

It may take you days or weeks, I can rebuild a 302, do the HCI and have it running in 8 hours after the machine work is done. But then you rest assured, you will not go there for many years to come.

With the cam that is in the kit you will not have piston to valve clearance issues.
