Default Header Gaskets?

I have an exhaust leak on both of my header gaskets and i want to get new ones. Went on summit and they have hedman "acrylic bound paper" gaskets and proform "soft conforming aluminum" gaskets. does it really matter which i get, or is one much more benficial than the other? Its only about $15 difference. Thanks

For 8 years Ive used nothing but High Temp RVT Silicone, the red stuff. Ive put that on all the cars I work on. All my friends use it and it works great. My friend had 2 bolts come out and still no leaks. i havent bought exhaust gaskets for anything in years,

Use the Fel Pro 1415 or equivalent for the size you need. You tighten the headers once and they seal and don't need re torquing. Ever since I started using those my headers don't leak any more, at least not at the heads anyway.

I've reused my 1415's several times already. They're very sturdy.
