Default aftermarket Fuel Pump question

I am able to score a great deal on a NOS 15763 fuel pump. only specs i can find are as follows: At 4psi, this pump can be used in engines producing up to 700 HP. 67 gph @ 45psi (100psi maximum). 3/8'' inlet and outlet. Comes with foam rubber isolator.

is this overkill or is it still usable and just keep the fuel pressure down on the regulator?

it depends on your build, if it's fairly stock and on a carbed set up it may be a little much but I'd rather have a little much than not enough

haha true, my build is fairly simple, stock bottom end, with 24lb injectors, aftermarket heads bigger throttle body etc.
i think my question is more so, is it ok to run this fuel pump with a somewhat stock motor? i have an intank one now and hate running power wires through the tank into gasoline. much rather have an inline one.

^^^^that's the way stock efi stangs have been for years with wires in the tank, but as long as the pump can deliver the proper psi and volume you'll be fine, not sure of the ghp vs lph conversion but look it up and see where 67 gph falls vs stock pump in an efi stang which is 88lph then 110 lph = next step up then 190 lph for a mild build as such 88 to 110 lph will be fine so see where 67 gph falls an there you'll have your answer
