if you know how to run codes with the engine off (KOEO) you basically do the same except your car will be running, you commence with the test and the car will do some self testing for about 2 minutes and then will spit some codes out for you.(KOER) just goodle "KOEO/KOER self testing" JOel5.0 made the write up and is extremely useful.

i'm willing to bet soemthing else is out of whack and not just the MAF. but who knows it very well could be the MAF but running those codes will tell you for sure.

are you talking about a cold air kit or a MAF, you seem to be interchanging them.

i'll run codes in a little bit. do you think i'll be fine using the stock MAF housing with the sensor for 24lb injectors? i thought it was like 55mm and i should be using 75mm housing.

I would say send off your pro-m and get it re-curved. Granatelli was made by Pro-m and I am am sure summit is the same way. But pro-m went under and now are up and running again so I am not sure if they are still making the other meters for them Vortech was C&L dont do that unless they have changed. PMAS is a good company to go with I have run there meters with no problems at all but I have also run the Pro-m with no problems.

this one i used cuz it has the MAF housing and everything is on it and the car barely idled, even when i reset the base idle and checked tps

this one i had to use my stock housing and with the sensor out of the Pro m and the car idles to strong

i have an aftermarket 73mm C&L....but your posts are extremely unclear. it sounds like you're using the wrong sensor with the wrong housing...do you actually have 24# injectors? (blue tops) did the sensor originally come out of hte stock 55mm housing or out of a different housing?

forget about the cold air piping. your idle issues has to do with your housing and/or sensor.

what mm housing comes on that bbk kit?

What in the world do you have?

Injector size?
ecu?

Without that info we are lost at helping you!

NEVER swap a sensor from one housing to another. It won't work!
(the only possible exception is C&L, and you would only encourage that if you didn't fully understand how the C&L setup works)

Don't take any of this as being rude, you just need to provide more info.

One more thing...

When you purchased the used MAF, was the meter originally used on a Fox?
