Anyone with a aftermarket MAF please assist

i have an aftermarket 73mm C&L....but your posts are extremely unclear. it sounds like you're using the wrong sensor with the wrong housing...do you actually have 24# injectors? (blue tops) did the sensor originally come out of hte stock 55mm housing or out of a different housing?
forget about the cold air piping. your idle issues has to do with your housing and/or sensor.
what mm housing comes on that bbk kit?

the sensor i'm trying to use on the stock housing is the one that came out of the pro m which is calibrated for 24's
the bbk kit does not come with a housing
i just want to buy a MAF sensor/housing that will work with the bbk.... bottomline

You can't swap sensors!
The aftermarket has pugged up the meaning of the word calibration.
The housing is a factor
The ecu is a factor
The sensor is a factor
Even the wiring is a factor.
Change any of these factors, and the 'calibration' is going to be wrong... it's just a question of HOW wrong.
It sounds like you are fed up... You didn't answer the questions I asked...
I recommend just buying a NEW meter.
Buy direct from the guys who make it (don't call the summitt/jegs tech line)
You will be happier this way.
(the only housing you will buy without a sensor is C&L. EVERYONE else will sell the sensor with the housing, and they will ask what ecu you have or atleast what year your car is)

dudeboy, do you have any suggestions on what meter? i was thinking of summit's and i'm tempted to just buy a c&l, it looks like most people run them here on mf. and yes i'm fed up. the reason i bought the pro m from this guy was because he said that the sensor would work in the stock housing and he had done this before. i guess i was shafted.

24's
i think i'll go with the Pro-m one that doesn't have the filter attached to it

If you were willing to get into tuning a J3 chip yourself, then I would suggest the LMAF.
Call Pro-M, directly
They will get you the right meter for what you are doing.
That is the best way you can go at this point.
Yes, the guy you purchased that meter from deceived you.
You cannot put a ProM sensor in a stock housing. No exceptions on that one.
