Default i found out the miss

mj46 i found the prob, the map sensor or what ever it was on the firewall was still connected, the previous owner switch to mass air and didnt unplug it, so i did and no more miss, but no another prob when im going in like thris or any high gear really at a low rpm and go to WOT its kinda fells like a detonation prob, i really dont know how to discrib it but its like thud thud thud lol, but only when i but a load on it

are you sure it's not a drivetrain problem.....the thud noise, where is the baging coming from??

no the vac line from the intake is caped but the actual sd was still pluged in, what is it actually called? im pretty sure its caoming from the motor, its not like a loud thud its hard to explain, kinda like when you put a load on its a sputtering sound, i only drove it a few miles last night, seeing that the inspection went out in 05, i have to be careful till i get everything up to date.

motor mounts maybe are going bad?
open up the hood and put it in drive with the brake on and tap the gas and see if the motor does a jump do it in reverse also.

if the motor mounts are bad the driver side would be the first side to check

so that means if im in first and it jumps it would be drverside correct, and reverse the pass side, or does it not matter

you guys are talking about unplugging the vac hose on m.a.p. sensor right, not the wire harness

no my map sensor was plugged in when i had the miss, i unpluged it and the miss was gone, well atleast last night it was, im going to go check in a bit to check it again
