To do or not, to do...
I need a new TPS, which is the answer to all my mixture woes, so I'm planning of just taking the entire throttle body off, and giving it a thorough cleaning. The questions areas follows: If I do that, should I take off the intake manifold too and clean it out? Does it need to be cleaned badly after 160,000 miles, keeping in mind the car runs great? And is it hard to get off and put back on without screwing everything up, given that the TB is off and so is thesway bar?

I would just leave the intake alone and just clean the T/B and egr spacer .I would clean the opening of the intake..only way to really kept it clean it pull off the hose coming from the valve cover<edited><editID>vfast</editID><editDate>37924.5089814815</editDate></edited>

they make intake cleaner designed to be sprayed into a vaccum port on your intake. your car may run good but it may be loosing in performance with the buildup of carbon effectively shrinking your intake runners and ports
