Default new x-pipe or stock h-pipe rep

should i get a magnaflow tru-X pipe (street legal, part no. 93332) for $550 including labor, or just get a replacement h-pipe, i need new plumbing because the pipes on now are really cheap and all rusted....

this is for my 87 GT

x pipes sound terrible with flowmasters and such , i wouldint put an x pipe on any chambered muffler , 1 thing to consider with your choices

yeah but then i would have to chop it off to put on some cats for smog test, and even then i dont know where to get one put on for a emissions controlled vehicle....

my cats are good, turns out my h-pipe was cracked all around where it meets the left side main pipe...got it fixed for free a minute ago...but x-pipe or h-pipe that is the question...stock 5.0 motor save for cold air.......
