Is that how long the shops charge for that kind of a job? About how much would it be?

the dealer i work at charges 73.00$ an hour. u tell me. lol. definatly replace the seals and check the crank if you can see it. check if it needs to be rebuilt underneath.

Wow so Im saving quite a bit doing it myself, more importantlyenjoying it, learning, and having the pride to say I did it. With your guy's help of COurse!!! Without you guys who knows!!!!??? What should I look for in the crank? Cracks and stuff? </P>


Plus I can save that money that the shop would charge for parts and other upgrades.</P>

look for nicks and stuff like that. maybe metal flakes. see if the main bearings look good and not copper colored.
