Default Power steering pump making noi

My power steering pump which im gonna assume is stock in my 86 gt works fine n all but makes noise. I can explain it but if you start the car and stand next to the front end you can hear the pump. Would this be from it starting to go bad or it just need some wd-40 or something?!?

you cant do anything but replace it... flush the ps fluid and make sure its full, the whining is fairly common and wont hurt anything, but if your fluid is low or foamy then flushing or adding fluid may help
