5.0's are great, the parts are dime a dozen and the resources are everywhere. I've been restoring mine for a while now. Just finished the passenger rocker panel and I got some more litlle things to take care of before paint.

Anyone have any suggestions for top end that could get me to my targeted range of about 450 HP? I'm pretty set on the 331 stroker kit but am open to all suggestions.

Needs carpet and a headliner, hopefully coming this winter.

yeah, but i got lucky, i paid an outragesly low price for the car which already had full exaust, intake, tune, etc. and got the paint with my "economic stimulus package" plus i sold another vehicle of mine to help fund this project.
bought the wheels/tires/headlights when 50resto was running a deal and bought a little bit at a time between when i bought the car in august 07 and april 08, then just did all the work at once. (suspension, paint, wheels/tires, etc) basically just alot of elbow grease and a bunch of help from my dad.

thanks for all the kind words

Good for you. This is where getting married at a young age bites me in the ***. I have to share my stimulus with my wife and kid and I will have my second (and last) in the next 2 weeks. I am going to try and strip my car and get the body work done after I get back from this next tour to Iraq....if I can save the money. Keep it up!
