Default let me know what you think of my new motor setup!

come to the decision on the setup ill be running. please let me know what u think looking for comments an open for suggestions.

347 from woody all forged internals flat tops 10:5 compression
PORTED victor jr heads i have laying around(k motion springs,manley race valves)
victor jr intake lower port matched to heads
comp xfi236hr stroker cam
1.6 rockers
30lb injectors
90mm t/b
255lph fuel pump
full 3 inch exhaust

looks good,once again no need for forged internals in a stock block , but its your money..

im no expert, but i might think you would want a little larger injectors. i think 30s are only supposed to supply something like 430 hp without have to high of a duty cycle. you might want to get 36s. im not real sure what kind of numbers your looking for out of that motor or what the specs on that cam are but with those high flowing heads and intake im going to assume you will be over that number at the crank at least. and if you want it to be streetable with a high reving high flowing motor you will need a pretty low rear gear and fairly high stall if its an auto.

looks good on paper, when do you expect to have it ready to go???

Let me clarify, Scat cast steel crank, scat 4340 I beam rod, probe forged piston. Cam is gonna break this motor, 50 bucks more gets a custom from me

so u suggest a custom cam from jay? i was readin up on the xfi series cam and they put out sum impressive numbers figured id give them a shot. but if your telling me its gunna break the motor then i think you would know better then me. how would that work if i had yo put a JA cam in it? would you talk to Jay to build the cam or would i have to call him and he would ship it to you?

sure send the form to my email. also another question if i decide to ship you my heads,head bolts,lifters,rockers,gaskets etc etc how much of a charge would that be.
