Default A9L WITH MARK 8 FAN !!!

just got done pre-wiring my mark 8 fan using my tweecer rt to activate my fan at 185 and shut off at 170. if anyone need any help give me a message or post a comment for info.

So... you have 100% control of the fan via the stock ecu?
One speed or two???????????

yes total control,at this point one speed but currently is working on 2speeds just need to find witch {pin} is for the low fan speed.

Last I heard (from dudes smarter than me), there was NO pin on the A9L for a low speed. Which is why I asked...

It seems the hardware needed for the low speed control was not installed...
If you do get it going please let me/us know.

I havn't ever heard of anyone running an electric fan thru the ECU. I don't know about using the tweecer unit but I guess its possible. You can do what everyone else does and get a fan controller do do the same thing.

You will end up with finer control over the fan when using the factory ecu logic.

My opinion is, that the A9L logic is a better way to control a fan compared to OTS relay type switches.

You already have a tweecer or other tuner...
Your A9L has the needed hardware...

yes ,what dudeboy saying is true. my set up have all the parts to run off the a9l for the high speed . at any temp i wont to control it at. but i'm currently in search for control over my low speed side. does anyone know of any site that might have a 60 pin read out of the eec connector.

Clint (86GT) is one of the 'smart dudes' I refered to earlier. I don't think they ever found the low speed pin... as it isn't there...
