Default Fuel System

I was wondering if im starving my motor in the upper rpm range hurting it at all if im running the stock 19lb fuel injectors with stock fuel pressure and 10* btdc with my set up. I was told that 5.0L have issues with the engine starving for fuel. Everything seems cool no detonation. I live in california and have to watch emissions. What size injectors would you go with? Thanks

24lb injectors will do jus fine.just make sure u replace the sample tube in the mass air as well.u do not have to replace your mass air there are companys that sell the sample tubes.

you're probably running a mass air meter that doesnt have a removable sample tube. with your set up you're reaching in the upper range of 19# injector duty cycle. might be a good idea to upgrade but you'll need a tune as well

Theres not really anything wrong im just concerned a bit that the 19lbers are maxed out and I could be running too lean. If I upgrade to 24's or 30's do I need a chip and a tune to get the computer to run right or can I just lower the fuel pressure and bump the timing a little? I tried some bosch 24lbs with a calibrated maf that a buddy had laying around and it was just flooding the motor but I had the stock fuel pressure regulator on it.
