86 fenders on the 87

will the passenger side fender off an 86 lx fit on a 87 just, and just stick the ground effects back on...

86 fenders on the 87

i'm looking at both cars right now, on both sets of fenders(86/87) they meet the same behind the front end, straight verticle edge to edge....it looks like it will work, has the same bolt/nut/screw holes for the ground effects..
just like how you can put an 87 front end on an 86<edited><editID>bmorrisj</editID><editDate>37928.4725578704</editDate></edited>

the headlgiht ***. is diffrent yes i own an 86 GT. umm it will look a little funny buit it will work

i thought fenders were the same 79-93...

86 fenders on the 87

The fenders are the same, 79-93. The actual fender stops before the front bumper cover, and that's where the difference is. You should be able to use the fender without a hitch.
