The TKO 500 and especially the 600 are going to be WAAAAYYYY stronger than a T5, but also more expensive. The TKO's are stronger than the T56 as well, except for the Viper T56, but I never liked the gear ratios on the Viper T56 all that much. The .8 5th would be nice sometimes though. T5 cheapest, T56 most expensive(and if Viper Blueprinted as strong as the TKO) and the TKO is a good all around transmission, very durable, affordable, and fits nicely.

if it were me id look at the t-56 because its a 6-speed so you can run 4.10s or 4.56 and still get good gas mpgs but the tremec is a good tranny also

Tremec is the way to go but when it comes to the 500 or 600 it just depends on what gear ratio you like better.

+1

i have 4.10 rear gear's and will be shooting a big shot of nitrous out of the hole, so i basically have to have the tko600's taller first gear.

if you dont plan anything THAT aggressive, then the TKO500's VERY steep first gear is good for n/a power.
