Default need help, i think my heatercore is goin

i drove my car today and smelled antifreeze inside the car. theres a few drops on the ground and theres smoke from it falling on the exhaust. the heatercore valve is wet and dripping. i really need my defrost right now. are these sure signs that my heatercore is done?

there is a drain tube that goes through the firewall on nthe passanger side below the a/c reciever dryer, if the green rolls from it = heater core is bad

That's what I'm doing.

I have a giant sheep skin coat and a brand new heater core kit sitting next to my front door. Guess which one I grab every morning......

Been quoted $200 to put it in by a "private" mechanic. pretty cheap but still cant really swing that this time of year so ima tear into it in jan when my friend has some extra garage space for me to use.

Very much not looking forward to it
