SN-95 big block

Anything is possible it just takes time and money. You may have to buy stuff for a foxbody with a 460 and modify it. You will need a oil pan, headers, motor mounts, and bellhousing or new tranny.

Not as hard as most people think, The one listed above is a Boss 428. While the Boss 429 is a hot engine (the Semi Hemi) it's very very rare. You have to have some deep pockets to even consider buying one mush less putting it in something. Thats said
Hooker Makes a swap kit for this swap, FRPP also builds an oil pan kit and mounts. The headers are cheaper than what I have on my car. If you buy a K member it's even easier. You need to have a C6 trans for your 429/460. To quote Geico "It's so easy a cave man could do it"

Ford never made a Boss 428. They only made boss 302, 351, and 429. The car mentioned above had a all aluminum boss 429 block. http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...oss/index.html
I Had a dealer near me that got a new Boss 429 Mustang on the lot (well showroom) and I tried my best to buy it. The dealers owner wouldn't sell it to me beacuse I was too young. I had cash in hand and still no sale. By the time I got back with my Father (I knew dad wasnt going to like it) It was being preped for the sale. The guy that bought it traded in a 8,000 Mile 67 Mustang GT Fastback with a 390 4 speed so thats what I ended up with. Ive tried several times to buy a Boss 429 car but it was a case of when I had the money I couldn't find one and when I didnt have the money they were everywhere.
All these year later the only Boss 429 Mustang that I ever sat behind the wheel of was the one I could have purchaced brand new, cash in hand. Not to many of the people that bought them back them beat on them very hard. Those things were special from day one.

the swap itself is not that bad, as long as you have some time on your hands and some money. The boss 9 is no longer as rare as it used to be. Jon Kaase is currently making new boss 9 replacement heads. They use the same valves/angles, rockers as the originals but they were cast with all the improvements the originals needed, i.e. stronger, better exhaust rocker placement, etc. And they run only a couple grand, not sure on price.
