Default inner tierod seal?

leaking pwrsteering fluid around boot...i'm thinkin cracked seal on inner tierod...hard to change?

you need to replace the rack = that is the fix

no the inner tie rod replacement won't stop the leak the tie rod screws on to the arm on the rack that slides past a seal that is not serviced, a reman rack is 80 buck max

oh yeah def get an alignment after you replace the rack. i have seen people destroy a set of brand new tires in a day because they refused an alignment. they came back the next day complaining we sold them a crap set of tires and they ended up paying for 2 more tires and an alignment.

mine is leaking too, its getting replaced along with the K member and im going manual steering baby!!!

thats a good idea. my rack started leaking so i just pulled the pump and have been drive with a power rack with no power for 2 years with out a problem lol

lolz. yea i think with skinny fronts, manual steering wont be bad, especially shedding about 100lbs off the front with the tube k member and no ac or power steering. and i hear the manual rack is lighter too.
