Hesitation under throttle
My friend just got a 91 5.0 lx automatic from his dad as his Christmas present. They are the original owner of the car and it is bone stock. When he gives it full throttle there is a slight hesitation before it gets up and goes. We're thinking it is the TPS. Is there anything else it may be before we start putting money trying to fix the hesitation.

Hasn't checked for any codes and it's been well-maintaned...not sure about a good tune up though, I'll have to ask tomorrow. The car does have over 300,000 miles on it, so you can't do poor maintance and it last that long. I'll post up his answer to a full tune-up tomorrow some time
