I am swapping the 2.3 in my 92 vert and was wondering about non mustang donor cars, mainly non H.O. motors in cars like crown vics and thunderbirds. whether there roller motors or not? what heads? compression, ect. I'm going to run a carb setup so I don't care about the FI and i'm not very concerned about bottom end because I don't plan to make too much HP. I'm just trying to build a cheap daily driver that'll get sideways and stomp noisy ricers

also, are there any other cars that have 4lug 8.8s that will interchange with a foxbody?

for the non ho 302, just stay away, 150hp i think they make, try and find a latemodel explorer/mountaineer with a 5.0 and get that, also you can pick up a turbocoupe rear end and stick it in there
