Default Performing Intake and Head Swap, Quick Q

OK, I'm finally getting all of these parts on my car. I have the upper intake off, and half of the fuel injectors off (ran out of daylight), however I have a couple of quick questions for you DIYers out there. How in holly hell do you get the bolts out of the upper intake. I'm reffering to the bolts that hold on the throttle body and the EGR system. They have no second lug near the tip, just round and threaded, and seem to just slip, or screw into the intake, but I'm not 100% on this one.

Also, I'm totally debating performing the head swap (despite the fact I have all new parts). Reason is, I'm not sure if the car will run right afterwards without being tuned, and while I was told there is an SCT tuner around, I havn't confirmed, my question is, is the 95 GT ECU so sensitive that it will not allow a head swap, even if my new injectors and MAF are calibrated to the new injectors and air flow??????

you should be able to get it to run decent.....if it is a stock intake.. the h.o plate must come off to access some bolts if that is what you are talking about???

Nope, I've got the upper completely off. I'm talking about the bolts that hold the throttle body on. I'm not sure about Foxbodies, but Sn-95s have these bolts that look like they're part of the intake themselves, but I know they're not as I know they come out, I'm just not sure how. Those are the bolts I'm talking about. Like I said, intake is off, I need to get the bolts that hold the TB and EGR plate on out the upper intake.

I thought they had a e-bit head on the studs...if yours are rounded someone may have stripped them off.

Well somebody did put on the stock intake again before I bought the car, and I confirmed that much. When I got the upper intake off, there was pretty much a brand new upper to lower intake gasket on the car, so I pretty just just confirmed that the previous owner did more to the car than what was on it when I bought it, as I was told.
