Door lock actuator question

My power door locks don't work on my lx. I can't lock them with the key either. Is this normal when they go out? How hard are they to change? Thanks.

this is exactly what happened to mine when they froze up, i couldent lock it with the key.

its pretty tricky to reinstall after you take them out.

i did it without drilling out the rivet holding it in and just snapping the new one back in the clip.

im guessing its pretty tricky either way since its not easy to get to.

Mine froze up like that. I just took out the actuators and now I have manual locks.

replace the actuators and it should work again

ok what about this, my doors lock fine, but now my passenger side door, will lock and unlock but wont open. its like its locked in either position. ive checked the rods going to the handle, and all seem to be in place, so im guessing that the latch is froze up, so what should i do?
