Default which blocks have forged pistons

What year 5.0 mustangs came with forged pistons and is there any casting numbers on the block that I should look for. I am going to try to find a used block to be rebuilt for my car and have found a few on craigslist, but do not know how to tell which to get. I would like to find one with forged pistons in rebuildable shape to save a few bucks.
thanks

I am going to try to reuse the pistons if they are in good shape still. If cyls are in good shape maybe just a light hone will clean them up without having to bore block. Does
100-150 bucks sound like too much to spend for a good rebuildable block?

I00-150 dollars for a rebuildable short block is a good deal. The problem is you won't know if it rebuildable until you tear it down as far as the crank and pistons go. Who ever you buy it from I doubt they want it back after you have torn it down. I gave away the engine that came out of my car to a friend of mine because I dint want him knocking on my door wanting his money back should anything go wrong. Turns out the engine is in nice shape (I only drove it once from NC) has a nice set of Forged pistons, Nice smooth crank and minimal wear on the bearings. Had I sold it to him probaby the only thing usable would have been the motor mount bolts. It's a Crap shoot
