headlights going out...

Check your grounds for your headlights. Sounds like they may be lose or corroded. I'd check them up and make sure there is enough wire in the eyelet. If not cut it and put on a new eyelet and see if that helps. If not try the replacing headlight switch. My amp meter sits right in the middle to. Doesn't move very often....until I flip on the mark viii fan then it dips really bad and goes back to normal lol.

Haven't checked ground wire yet but plan too. Here is an update to the symptoms.. It only cuts in and out while brights are on. When it happens I switch to dims and it stops. I felt the headlamp switch area and It felt warm. Fog lights were off before it happened the first time tonight. Then turned them on after so I could see in case it did it again. Which it did and the fog lights were unaffected.

Replace the multifunction switch and see how it works out.
