lol, to run 10's and ol' bandimere your going to need some serious power.

Im about 12miles out from bandimere and run there all summer.

if you stay true to your goals, then yea, i think you could pull off 185 heads, but the car is going to be a dog on the street most likely.

i dont have any exprence with em, but i know you will need a really good setup on the 302 to make it work right.

i 185s will be great for the 302 but too small for a 357. i run a 215 head (205s ported out) on my 331. plenty of bottom end power and more then enough for the street even when not in boost.

not to steel the thread or anything but would 185's be a good head for a stock short block 302 and a paxton novi 2000? (pretty sure the s/c would help the car creat good drivability down low,)

You caught me at the right time.

Custom Cam from Camshaft Innovations

A few goodies before grinding that cam

AFR 185 aluminum Heads,

1 5/8 headers,

Fenderwell CAI, MSD Blaster coil, MSD Bullet Distributor, MSD 6al or the new digital ignition box,

Trick Flow Street intake,

Pro M Mass air meter set for 30lb injectors,

ford 30lb injectors.

4:10's

A guy ran 11.5 with this setup, on a 5.0, running a little rich WITH A AOD AUTOMATIC.

FORGED AXLES OR 31 SPLINE, he broke the passenger rear 3rd pass.

off idle to 2600 rpms it will be a drag, until you hammer it !

Have fun
