If you're still in the setup definition stage...... suggestion:

Weiand X-Celerator SP intake, Holley 650 DP, TFS 190 "fast as cast" heads, custom HR or TLSR cam = 100% daily driver setup (if need be) 306 setup and low 11s ET, 100% N/A performer.

A custom cam is tailored/designed to the specific engine/drive train/user goals, but based on my humble experience and cases out there, it will be a camshaft that will support power brakes and the use of A/C when required. Duration figures @.050" and total valve lift, are simply the tip of the iceberg regarding camshaft characteristics.
