Default Brown coolent? HELP!

ok, so i went to empty my radiator (when installing my superchargerer) and it came out brown? (when i put it in, and it was green lol). Now i dont think it is oil, because it is not puddling up since oil and water dont mix, so i wasthinking possible it was rust from the block?
any suggestions? i will be doing a flush once im done with the install

no, not really, mine was the same after sitting for 4 years, stuck a gardenhose in the inlet hose, and disconnected the return hose and ran it till the water came out clear, then I used a few gallons of distilled water to flush the tap water, then added a 50/50 mix of green coolant and distilled water

I have seen alot of 302's that are very rusty. My mom had a towncar with a 302 and we flushed and flushed that thing and we never got it all out. I saw a tech tip in hotrod that said vinegar and water would clean a block up.
