Bad hesitation.
I just put a new motor in my Mustang, Got new everything just about. Im running an MSD ignition (minus the distributor) so I advanced the timing about 5 degrees and gaped the plugs at about .060 to .065. ( factory is .054). When I give it alot of gas it runs fine but when I try to coast or give it just a little gas, it misses and hesitates. Any solutions?

i had the same problem could never cruise because it would start like jerking i would always have to be accelarating what i did was checked the tps try diffrent settings when i would put my tps like at .98 thats when it would jerk had to lower a bit and i also changed one 02 sensor that looked bad and that fixed the problem and the jerking or hesitating never came back i can cruise now you can also try checking your timing or run a KOER

If you're gonna have a smart *** response to ppl for trying to help you, don't bother asking cuz you're going about it the wrong way.
The reason we ask questions is to try and find out as much info on the problem to try and help YOU solve the problem. My car runs great and guess what, my plugs are gapped at .030!!
UNDERSTAND???

tell you what, regap them to 0.050 and see what happens...on a SC application I gap my plugs at 0.032! ...so I don't blow-out the spark!
...the other question is: did you time your car correctly?
