i have a 91 lx 5.0 vert got it with a carb on it an now im going back to fuel injection.

the engine wiring and non mass air computer is from an 88 gt...also the fuel pump relay has been cut out, but i have hooked it back up.

i can touch the green and pink wire togeather under my seat an the pump does come on.

okay man, can you elaborate on the fuel pump relay being "Cut out"?

I just had a fuel pump problem.
Have you made sure your relay activates when the keys turned? That wire comes from the ecm, the pink/blk wire is hot at all times on the secondary side of the relay, and has a fusible link in-line with it as well, but if you can hook up that wire underneath your seat, you know thats all good, as well as inertia switch (green wire) to ground. So that leaves, ecm, ignition switch, or wiring...I'm thinking you have a bad wire from the pcm to the fuel pump relay.

There is something probably wired up wrong, and you better use that pump relay, its there for a reason. Check this site it has a lot of schematics.http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/te...#95-95Diagrams

that is the older style relay, I'm betting the wires aren't right from the 91 wiring to the old *** relay connector. The new ones are like this
